The Experience
In all of my newborn sessions, I embrace a relaxed, documentary-style approach that highlights the genuine connections within your family and the newest member of your family. These sessions have a natural, lifestyle feel instead of using posing or props.
Newborn sessions can be Fresh 24 or Lifestyle Newborn. During our consultation call I am happy to go over the differences with you in more detail so you can decide which type of newborn session you prefer. A brief overview...Fresh 24 sessions are documented while you are still in the hospital or birth center. Lifestyle Newborn is usually in the coziness of your own home although studio and outdoor settings are always options!
Lifestyle Newborn sessions are best scheduled within the initial month of life. To capture those precious, super sleepy newborn cuddles, I recommend scheduling a session during the first two weeks after your expected due date.
Documenting this brief stage of brand new motherhood can be a main focus of our time together. Feeding, snuggling, rocking in your rocking chair and incorporating any sentimental items in our session are ways that will reflect this chapter of life in your beautiful images.

rELAXED AND COMFY
Lifestyle newborn photography captures the natural moments and emotions of your family in a relaxed setting. Rather than using props or elaborate setups, it focuses on genuine interactions, creating authentic and timeless images.
What is lifestyle newborn photography?
Absolutely! I offer a variety of print and product options, and I can guide you through the process of selecting the best items to showcase your favorite images
DO YOU OFFER PRINT PRODUCTS?
For outdoor sessions, I love shooting at golden hour (one hour before sunset). The light is magical at this time and the majority of my portfolio reflects this time of day. For in-home sessions, these are usually best around 9-10am, depending on the natural lighting in your home.
What time will our session be?
It's completely normal for babies to be fussy during our session. I plan newborn sessions to allow for feeding and soothing breaks to ensure baby and Mama’s comfort.
What if my baby is fussy during the session?
Yes, I offer packages for Announcement + Maternity + Newborn or Maternity + Newborn. Additionally, I'm open to creating a custom package that aligns perfectly with your vision.
